"Tempted" Episodes 23-24 (cont.)

He leans closer, and her lips touch his.  The boundaries between flesh and spirit, life and death disappear, as he gains physical form, substance, and sensation.  He shudders as he takes in breath and tingles with life.   His body surges with energy, currents of vitality coursing through his veins, nerves, and sinews.   He stretches, like a cat unfurling from a long nap, and looks down at himself, as if feeling the throbbing of reawakening lust.  No more is he a “shadow” of his former self.  Although he has yet to regain his fangs and all of his erotic powers, he is back in his flesh, savoring its carnal appetites.  She gazes at him with surprise, wonder, and growing desire, smiling with secret wanton delight.  She seems to exult in her power to bring him back to life, the power she has as a woman to arouse yearning and need.
