“Game’s over,” he suddenly announces, coming up behind her and enfolding her in his arms.
They embrace, dancing slowly as the curtains flutter and caress.  “I want you,” Livvie says huskily, taking him by the hand.  “I need you,” she moans.
His lips tingle against her neck, the tips of his fangs evoking reckless ripples of delight.

“Do it!” she begs.

His bite is deep, penetrating all her defenses, all her fears.  It is a blackness that lulls and annihilates, a plunging into vast, ecstatic oblivion.
