2. Donating copies of Michael’s Soul Stealer books to libraries: In honor of Michael’s upcoming birthday and to celebrate his writings, Michael Easton fans from various groups have initiated a project that will help boost sales of Michael’s Soul Stealer books, raise awareness of his literary talents, and help libraries. To participate in this project, you can go to Michael’s graphic novel publisher’s site, DMF Comics , purchase a copy of Soul Stealer 1 or 2, and then donate the copy to a library of your choice. When donating the book to the library, please also include professional reviews about Soul Stealer since many libraries will not accept books for inclusion in their collections without a professional review. 3. Donating to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance project in honor of Michael’s birthday:

Collaborating on a group project focusing on Michael’s writings and inspirations: Since Michael has inspired us with his writing and his acting, maybe we can try to share with him some of the works (music, art, writings, films, etc.) that remind us of the types of themes and imagery he evokes so brilliantly in his Soul Stealer series, as well as his book of poetry Eighteen Straight Whiskeys. For example, we could include images from works of art, links to Web sites discussing literature and films, and suggest song titles (or even add sound files) that we find darkly illuminating in a way reminiscent of his writings. We could explain why these images, stories, songs, films, etc. remind us of Michael’s works or evoke similar emotions and atmosphere. Last year some of us here participated in a project of this nature, including photos and song files. This year we can do it again, primarily focusing on Michael’s literary works and the influences he has mentioned in the Behind the Scenes part of his official Web site ( http://www.michaeleaston.com/SS_BTS.html ). From now until his birthday, we can post messages, images, songs, and links here related to this project. Then, later, I can mail him a printable copy of these posts, links, etc. You can post your comments, links, here at my blog or on my MySpace Michael Easton Eclectics Salon page ( http://www.myspace.com/michaeleastoneclectics ). Since we are in the midst of the holiday season, now is the time to let ABC-TV know that
they can bring good cheer to all of the devoted Port Charles fans, as well as the fans of vampire-themed shows, by reviving
our dearly beloved, abruptly cancelled Port Charles. Please continue sending postcards and e-mails to the key ABC executives and to the soap magazines, especially ABC Soaps In Depth, which has continued to ignore our campaign even though Soap Opera Weekly and Soap Opera Digest have featured our letters. The December 15 issue of Soap Opera Weekly, in fact, includes another letter in support of a Port Charles revival.
You can send holiday-themed postcards, such as the one above, expressing the wish to have Port Charles return. ABC Soaps in Depths needs a surprise from Caleb’s Catacomb next week. If everyone here on this site would please write an E-mail to this magazine, regarding the Resurrection of Port Charles, they would get almost 1200 E-mails! Now THAT would be SO COOL!
Please, if you can take a few minutes on Monday and write a few lines to ABC Soaps In Depth Magazine that you want ABC to Revive Port Charles, would be very much appreciated and you would be part of a HUGE E-mail blitz that “could” possibly get the attention of this magazine to finally plug a story about our Campaign. That would be a huge hit for all of us, because ABC would eventually need to respond to the outcry of E-mails of people who want to see this show put back on TV.

Keep The Faith! “Resurrect Port Charles Campaign”

KEEP THE FAITH
Everyone interested in bringing Port Charles back to television, all you need to do is keep writing letters and mailing them with flyers and postcards weekly (or daily). Mail and E-mail as much as you possibly can. In case you are interested, my favorite ones to hit on are Anne Sweeney of ABC, and to ABC Soaps In Depth magazine.
I know and realize that sometimes all this writing seems mundane and that it isn’t making a difference, but in my faith, your work IS making a difference! Everything comes in good time. I know there are many days and weeks without word of anything happening, but there is something happening. Many people, like you and me, are writing every day and making our voices heard. Trust me, they are getting your letters and notes! So please keep the faith! Things don’t happen as fast as we would like them to, but they do happen. One way or another we will get an answer!
Keep writing, mailing, and e-mailing as much as you possibly can. Envision a room filled with tables of people who are writing to ABC just like you are… for that is what is really happening. Know that you are not doing this alone… that MANY people are writing just like you.
Should anyone have suggestions or ideas, I’d love to hear them. Pass them on to my Inbox for discussion. Thank you! And THANK YOU for writing to all these places!! May Port Charles reign again on ABC! Yeah baby!

KEEP CAMPAIGN GOING
Greetings Friends,
I hope you all had a fun Halloween, and that you are enjoying the weekend. I just wanted to touch base with you about the Resurrect Port Charles Campaign. Although, we were pressing hard with this Campaign from September 1st and through October 31st, I would like to see this Campaign going UNTIL we hear something from ABC about whether they will be considering putting Port Charles back on the air or not.
Everyone who knows how great that show was, realizes the ace in the pocket that ABC carries with this show. For those of you who are joining this Campaign in support of your fanged friends, I thank you for trusting our judgment and for supporting our efforts to get this classic show back on television.
Whether you want to use “Revive Port Charles,” “Resurrect Port Charles,” or “Restore Port Charles,” is your choice. They all mean the same thing, and the whole point is to BRING PC BACK TO ABC TV!
Please continue to E-mail AND/OR Mail Letters, Flyers, Postcards to the addresses listed in the Blog named, “IMPORTANT: NEW MAIL ADDRESSES & E-MAILS.” There you will find all the listed mailing and e-mailing addresses of ABC and of selected magazines. GREAT NEWS! The national soap magazine, Soap Opera Weekly, has taken our Campaign under its wing and posted a letter quote from Alison Armstrong (creator of campaign)! We are really starting to get the attention that we need, and ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK IS PAYING OFF! YAY! WOO-HOO!

Hey Everybody!
I hope the Campaign is going good for you as it is with me. Please keep those letters going to ABC and/or the selected Magazines! You can Mail and/or E-mail the Letters/Postcards/Flyers as attachments, whichever you prefer to do. The main point is to keep the momentum going and to send out those Letters & Postcards so that they keep piling up on those VIP’s desks!
It’s imperative that we keep this Campaign going until we here word, in one form or another, whether ABC will or will not be bringing Port Charles back to television. I hope they are as smart as I know they are, for they have an Ace sitting in their pocket, which would bring A LOT of revenue to their pockets with Port Charles back on the air! If we know this, surely they must too!
