Michael Easton Birthday and Messages 2008

Michael Easton’s birthday is Feb. 15.  If you would like to leave a message on this forum in case he visits it, you may do so here.

If you haven’t already done so, please support the birthday campaign to donate money to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.

In case anyone is unaware of the Michael Easton birthday project,  here’s a message Claudine, of the Unofficial Michael Easton Fan Club, wrote explaining the Michael Easton birthday donation campaign to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, a donation effort which includes all Michael Easton fans.  You do NOT have to be a member of the Unofficial Michael Easton Fan Club to donate.  

Claudine wrote:

“Last year when Michael wrote his very touching letter thanking his fans for his birthday gift, although I was thrilled that he mentioned me and the fan club by name, I did get a little twinge because we didn’t do it alone. I certainly didn’t do it alone. For the record, Michael does know this. When we do this birthday campaign, I think of it as being from all of the fans working together. It is not about recognition for our group or any other, it is about HIM. Not us, HIM. I know you share my feelings. I also think the fact that everyone works together on this one project may be almost as much of a miracle as curing cancer would be. LOL But I want you all to know that this year I will make sure Michael knows that too, up front. I KNOW that he will also appreciate the fact that everyone worked together to make a huge difference. The rough draft of the letter that will accompany the letter from the OCNA on his birthday follows:

Happy Birthday Michael from ALL of your fans. Once again we joined together to make a donation to the OCNA and as of today, the total is ____________ _. I want you to notice the names and groups listed and make note that not all of this was donated by members of the Fan Club. They are listed here not to get recognition, but to show you that all of your fans put aside their differences, putting you first, to work TOGETHER to make a positive difference in your
honor. (This is a miracle in and of itself. LOL) This day is about you and we want you to know that no matter which fan groups we belong to we love you, Michael Easton, the person and we are all here supporting you no matter what lies ahead.

Thanks for making the world a better place and for inspiring us to do the same.
